Hemorrhoid surgery with high-frequency waves RFA (Radiofrequency Ablation) is a method of treating hemorrhoids in stages 2-3 which are not very large. The doctor will use a small needle approximately 2 mm in diameter to release waves. The RFA frequency creates heat energy to destroy the blood vessels that supply the hemorrhoids. It causes the hemorrhoid head to atrophy and shrink without having to incise the wound.
